Legal & Compliance Notice

Confidentiality, export-control, classified-information, and intellectual-property expectations for material submitted to BLACKWORKS.

Effective

This notice describes the confidentiality, export-control, intellectual-property, and submission-integrity expectations that apply to material sent to BLACKWORKS through the website.

1. Confidentiality of submissions

Submissions are reviewed by the BLACKWORKS operating group under professional confidentiality. Review does not, by itself, create a binding non-disclosure agreement. If your submission requires a formal confidentiality agreement before disclosure, request one before transmitting sensitive material.

2. Classified and export-controlled material

Do not submit classified information, export-controlled technical data, or any material whose transmission would require a license, clearance, or government authorization, unless an appropriate agreement and authorization are already in place between you and BLACKWORKS.

3. Third-party confidential material

Do not submit material owned by or confidential to a third party unless you are authorized to disclose it. Submitters represent that they have the right to share what they submit.

4. Intellectual property

Submitters retain ownership of their material. Submission grants BLACKWORKS a limited, non-exclusive right to review the material for the purpose of evaluating fit and preparing a response. Any further use is governed by a separate written engagement.

5. Submission integrity

Submissions must be accurate and made in good faith. Misrepresenting identity, affiliation, the origin of material, or the state of a program may result in rejection of the submission and refusal to accept future submissions from the same source. Automated, scripted, or fraudulent submissions are blocked and discarded.

6. No solicitation of regulated services

The website does not offer or solicit legal, financial, investment, regulatory, securities, brokerage, or other licensed advisory services. Material on the website is informational and does not constitute professional advice.

7. Sanctions and trade compliance

BLACKWORKS does not engage with parties or transactions prohibited under applicable sanctions, embargo, or anti-money-laundering regimes. Submissions from such parties are declined.

8. Reporting concerns

Concerns about misuse of the submission channel, suspected fraud, intellectual-property complaints, or improper disclosure should be reported through the BLACKWORKS contact channel linked at the bottom of this page. Reports are reviewed by the operating group.

9. Updates

This notice may be updated as the operating model evolves. Material changes are signaled by updating the effective date at the top of this document.
